Her Ph.D. dissertation deals with a biomechanical subject focusing on sawing of bones. Ilige Hage is a mechanical engineer, having graduated from the Lebanese University faculty of engineering (Roumieh) with a BA in Mechanical Engineering. Ilige Hage has received a scholarship from France for a double diploma to pursue a master’s degree at Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France) Master SMA-Design and simulation of complex products and systems-metal assemblies and complex compsite-EMC2. Ilige Hage’s research interests are related to processing (image processing and enhancement, neural networks), machining (cutting, drilling…), and modeling of materials: metals and natural materials.
